Step into a quiet little storybook world with this Fairytale Nature Companions collection, featuring gentle encounters between a whimsical child and some of nature’s smallest and most enchanting creatures. From a tiny bird balancing on an outstretched hand and a watchful hare in the grass to a curious fox, field mouse, hedgehog, butterfly, frog, snail, squirrel and young deer, each illustration captures a simple moment of childhood wonder. Created in the distinctive Artoutrageous fairytale style with scratchy hand-drawn linework, muted watercolour washes, wonderfully imperfect proportions and generous pale space, these nostalgic illustrations are perfect for junk journals, card making, scrapbooking, altered books, nature journals, nursery projects, storytelling, paper crafts and other creative designs.
